Belize is an amazing country offering everything for the adventure vacation or the "sit back, relax and drink Pena Colada's on the beach" type of vacation. I chose to do both including snorkeling with sharks and stingrays off the coral reef, trekking through jungles to see ancient Mayan ruins and caving inside of largest cave system in Central America. Along with these exciting activities I found the Belizean people to be EXTREMELY friendly and helpful! There is nothing like their hospitality and I would highly recommend Belize for anyone looking for an alternative travel vacation.
